Prior to joining Bea Young Associates in 1993, Doug worked for several years as a consultant and trainer for Harbridge House, Inc. where he facilitated diversity & inclusion education sessions with senior executives of Fortune 500 organizations. Today, as the leader of The Kaleidoscope Group, Doug empowers organizations to achieve their diversity and inclusion goals. His knowledge and expertise guides organizations through the creation of customized strategies that address the specific diversity needs of the business. He has extensive experience working with senior executives to champion diversity and develop commitment and enthusiasm across all employee groups. His energy and passion for the work is contagious and people seldom walk away without a memorable experience. Sharon Leslie Morgan, 2014 Conference SpeakerSharon Leslie Morgan and Thomas Norman DeWolf are co-authors of GATHER AT THE TABLE: The Healing Journey of a Daughter of Slavery and a Son of the Slave Trade. (http://gatheratthetable.net/). They speak at universities and conferences and lead workshops and trainings throughout the United States.

Morgan is the founder of OurBlackAncestry.com, a website devoted to African American genealogy. She is a multicultural marketing expert who worked for many years as a consultant to Fortune 100 companies. A Chicago native, she has lived abroad in the Caribbean, Europe, and Africa.

Morgan DeWolf, 2014 Conference SpeakerDeWolf is Community Coordinator for Coming to the Table, a non-profit organization that provides resources and support for all who wish to acknowledge and heal  wounds of racism rooted in the history of slavery. He is the author of Inheriting the Trade and is featured in the PBS documentary Traces of the Trade.

 

 

 

Dr. Jamieson, Session: Effective Decision-Making

Dr. Jamieson, 2014 Conference SpeakerDr. Jamieson is Professor & Department Chair, Organization Learning & Development, College of Education, Leadership & Counseling at the University of St. Thomas. He is also President of the Jamieson Consulting Group, Inc., Practicum Director in the M.S. in Organization Development Program at American University and Distinguished Visiting Scholar at Benedictine Ph.D. in OD program. He is now teaching at his seventh university. He has 40 years of experience consulting to organizations on leadership, change, strategy, design and human resource issues. He is a Past National President of the American Society for Training and Development (1984) and Past Chair of the Management Consultation Division and Practice Theme Committee of the Academy of Management. He has published or edited 5 books (including Managing Workfoce 2000: Gaining the Diversity Advantage), 15 chapters, 6 special issues of journals and numerous articles; and serves on 4 journal editorial boards. Jamieson is also, co-author of The Facilitators Fieldbook, 3rd Edition (AMACOM, 2012).
