New York Life has five employee network groups: the Women’s Leadership Project as well as groups for African Americans, Asians, Latinos and LGBT employees. These groups host events during the year that celebrate the unique experiences each person brings. The Women’s Leadership Project encourages women to pursue opportunities, enhance career development and achieve their personal goals. Since its start in 2003, the initiative has hosted more than 25 events on topics such as women’s health and presentation skills, and has held networking events, workshops and charitable drives for Dress for Success.
