Allison Ray, Research Excellence Officer for Science & Technology Idaho National Laboratory

Dr. Allison Ray is the Research Excellence Officer for Science & Technology for Idaho National Laboratory. She has a Doctor of Science degree from Idaho State University. She has significant R&D and leadership experience in bioenergy and environmental research. She demonstrates expertise in biomass characterization, preprocessing, and feedstock-conversion interface. She also presents the ability to develop multi-institution, interdisciplinary teams with INL, and industry and university partners for collaborative proposals and research. Her leadership of S&T Research Excellence initiatives improve research quality, impact, and relevance. At INL, Dr. Ray showcases her leadership ability as she serves as the Office of Science (SC) coordinator and chairs the SC Council. She also leads INL’s Research Culture Initiative which aims to amplify science and strengthen research excellence within the organization.
