Kraft requires diversity/inclusion training for every employee at key career stages. Its 10 employee councils align their objectives with the company’s business strategies, and the firm develops relationships with external organizations to connect with a broad range of consumers and attract diverse talent. Kraft introduced its Diversity Performance Factor as a clear link to executive incentive compensation and the achievement of its diversity and inclusion vision. In the US, it established a 1% increase in the representation of both women and people of color. In its international business units it established a 1.5% increase in the representation of women in management. In 2009, Kraft experienced its largest year-over-year increase in its representation of women and people of color, and saw another increase in 2010. It also developed the Employee Council Leadership Academy, to help ensure its 10 employee councils’ efforts are constantly aligned with its business objectives
