Manuel Haro is the Vice President of Brand Strategy and Planning for GIANT Food Stores, LLC responsible for developing a Unique Selling Proposition, driving customer and business insights and leading store format and RE development.
Manuel earned an undergrad in Industrial Engineering at Universidad Iberoamericana, and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh. Manuel started his retail career as a supplier with Campbell Soup, were he worked in multiple finance roles.
In 2008, joined Walmart International as Sr. Director of Global Format Development helping transplant store formats across countries; also worked with Walmart US Real Estate Strategy developing market penetration and format strategies. Prior to his retail career, Manuel worked in consulting with McKinsey and KPMG.
In early 2012, Manuel joined GIANT Food Stores, LLC as Division Controller and moved to Pennsylvania.
