Professionally, having worked for a few companies, Ruth has been employed by Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey for the last 24 years, where she has held a host of operations and technical positions, working her way up to currently serve as a Director of Service Operations for close to 10 years. Ruth is an active member of the Central Jersey Club of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc., for which she has served in multiple capacities over the years, including Recording and Corresponding Secretary, Director of Membership and Youth Leader. This includes chairing committees, such as their signature Rev., Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Observance Program. Academically, Ruth achieved her Association of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Brookdale Community College, her bachelor’s degree in Management Science and Master’s Degree in Management Information Systems, both from Kean University.
