Anger has full P&L responsibility for his area of GE. Prior to his current position, he was general manager, Latin America of GE Enterprise Solutions, with overall accountability for the region, and drove 30%+ growth by transforming it to a cross-functional business organization, attracting top leadership talent, building core operating processes, driving customer engagement in key vertical segments and establishing a strong network of regional partners. Before that, he was general manager of technology at GE Energy Optimization & Controls, where he led a global team of over 800 accountable for strategic positioning, advanced technology and new product development. His key accomplishments included full-lifecycle development of the division’s core product platforms plus significant expansion of GE’s oil and gas exploration portfolio through acquisition. And, as vice president of software technology at GE Fanuc, Anger co-led the definition/execution of its growth strategy for software, resulting in five-fold business growth over five years.
