As Heartland’s head of institutional sales, Joy is responsible for coordinating the firm’s worldwide business development, consultant relations, and client service. His contributions Hve yielded recognitions and significant increase in Heartland’s exposure in the institutional marketplace and the breadth of client and consultant relationships. Prior to this role, Joy spent more than 10 years at Goldman Sachs & Co. as an advisor in the Private Wealth Management Group, a vice president in the Third Party Distribution Division of the investment management division and co-champion of diversity recruiting at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. Before those positions, he worked for IBM as an advisory client manager. Joy has served in several outside leadership positions including the Carnegie Mellon University Alumni Association board, president of the Chicagoland chapter of the CMU Alumni Association, vice president of the Art Institute of Chicago Auxiliary Board, and a member of the Milwaukee Forum.
