Menon’s current position was created to drive transformational changes to Verizon’s supply chain. He was previously head of Intel’s World‐Wide Supply Planning Operations Organization and led a team of about 800 supply chain employees that synchronize product supply with customer demand. In 2007, he led a company‐wide task force that reduced Intel’s net inventory levels by more than $1 billion. Prior to his current role, Menon was the operations manager for Intel’s world‐wide chipsets assembly/test factory network. He was the Costa Rica chipsets factory manager for two years where he led the startup and production ramp of a new factory, building a team of 600 to deliver exceptional safety/quality/output and best‐in‐class unit costs. Menon also spent 10 years in operational roles at Wafer Fabs. He has published several journal articles and conference papers and was a speaker at SEMI‐Japan (Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International) and the International Symposium for Semiconductor Manufacturing.
