Scriven concentrates his practice in the area of business litigation, handling a diverse range of business disputes. The clients he has represented range from individual shareholders of closely-held corporations in “business divorces” to large financial institutions. A former federal appellate law clerk, he also has substantial experience in all phases of appellate litigation. He was admitted to the Florida bar in 1987, ad his court admissions include the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida; U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit; and U.S. Supreme Court. Scriven is a
recipient of the Heman Marion Sweatt Award from the National Bar Association, and was selected for inclusion in Florida Trend magazine’s “2011 Florida Legal Elite” and in 2006 and 2008-2012 Florida Super Lawyers (commercial litigation). His non-legal-profession associations include the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts Inc., Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation
