Miguel Martinez Noguerol is the corporate vice president and general manager of Motorola Solutions Latin America Region. Miguel brings to this new role an intimate understanding of the region and more than 25 years of experience in the information technology (IT) and Industrial Automation Industries. He has built a distinguished career working as a provider of systems, IT solutions and professional services and has held leadership positions in pre-sales, sales, business development, services and general management. A native of Brazil, Miguel earned a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from Universidade de Mogi das Cruzes, post-graduate diploma in digital systems and automation at Centro Universitario da FEI, and a post-graduate diploma in Business Administration from Fundacao Getulio Vargas (FGV). In 1999 he moved to the United States, where he attended advanced management programs at Stanford University, University of California-Berkeley, and Insead / Fundacao Dom Cabral (FDC). Prior to joining Motorola, Miguel was the vice president of sales and services for Sun Microsystems Latin America, where he hold several sales leadership roles in the last 14 years.
