Jairo Fernando Perez is originally from Colombia, and his family immigrated to the United States in 1979. Jairo grew up in Miami, Florida, where he attended grade school and high school. In 1990, Jairo moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, to attend Tulane University where he graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. In 1996, Jairo passed the CPA exam in Louisiana. In 2000, he earned an MBA in Finance and Management Information Systems from earned from Tulane University. Jairo has worked in Louisiana, Texas, Florida and Mexico City. He is married to Natalia Arellano and they are expecting their first child this year.
