Nikki Nissen

Currently, Nikki Nissen is in the role of Chief Nursing Officer for Novant Health Medical Group, which consists of 528 outpatient locations, and is responsible for overseeing the coordination and implementation of clinical best practices across NHMG. She previously worked as a staff nurse in cardiac services, intensive care and orthopedics and as an educator in orthopedics. She worked in various leader roles as a nurse manager, hospital administrative supervisor, emergency services director and nursing director. Nikki Nissen is a member of the Greater Charlotte Healthcare Executive Group (GCHEG) and has participated in the diversity and inclusion committee since its inception in late 2016. She is currently the chair of that committee and participated in the award of the ACHE Innovation Grant in 2017 to fund GCHEG Equity of Care Initiatives. She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with MSN in Executive Nursing.
