Kaiya Dowtin, Assistant Vice President of Operations at Wellstar Health System, has more than 22 years of experience in healthcare. During that time, she has held a number of leadership roles across Atlanta. Throughout her career, Kaiya has remained laser focused on balancing the needs of patients with the needs of the healthcare system.

Her passion for continuous improvement is matched only by her dedication to the communities we serve. Kaiya has participated in a build at Habitat for Humanity, been a mentor at Destiny’s Daughter of Promise and volunteered at MUST Ministries. She recently received her certification in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion from eCornell University, and is leading all DE&I efforts across Wellstar Medical Group.

Kaiya holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Curry College; a Master of Science in Nursing from University of West Georgia; and she earned her Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from Northcentral University. She holds a Nurse Executive, Advanced certification; is a Woodruff Leadership Academy graduate; and a Six Sigma Green Belt.
