Daniel Perez is the Director, Treasury at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. In this role, he is responsible for bank relationships, liquidity management, treasury analytics, remittance processing, as well as special treasury projects and initiatives at Horizon.

Prior to joining Horizon, Perez was the AVP – Treasury Operations and Administration with Chubb Insurance, where he oversaw the liquidity and administration processes for the North American region. He also had the opportunity to oversee the Treasury Department at Bed Bath & Beyond as the Treasury Manager for nearly ten years. In addition, Perez taught for six years as an adjunct professor at the University of Phoenix. In this position, he taught a wide array of Finance and Accounting courses to underclassmen.

Perez holds a Masters in Accounting from Kean University. He is also a Certified Treasury Professional.
