Roseland entrepreneur Pam McElvane has a message for corporate America: Get out of your comfort zone and diversify your leadership ranks.
The chief executive officer of P&L Group, which publishes Diversity MBA magazine, is convening her eighth-annual conference on diversity this week in Oak Brook that will recognize the top 50 U.S. companies that have made the greatest diversity and inclusion gains, including such Chicago-area companies as A.T. Kearney, Health Care Services Corp., Hyatt Hotels, Northern Trust, Allstate Insurance and DePaul University. Companies are selected based on a proprietary questionnaire.
This year’s top-ranked company is Accenture.
