Black Wall Street Washington DC
blackwallstreet.org/
For the first time ever, the fastest growing entrepreneurial platform in the Northeast has made its way to Washington D.C. While serving over 500 businesses, organizations, and entrepreneurs, from ages 9 to 79, from New York to Massachussetts, we are joining the hundreds of amazing entreprenuers here in the D.M.V. to help further push the agenda of self sufficiency and cooperative economics within the African American community.
So with that said, we will host our first every BWS D.C. on Saturday, February 29th, 2020 at Maya Angelou Public Charter School. (Gymnasium), from 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. Please come out and so support to our local vendors, whom are our very own family and or friends. From amazing butters and soaps to the newest fashion designs, we will have plenty to choose from. Admission is free, and this is a family friendly environment.
As we always do, we want to pay homage and respect to the hundreds of lives lost and businesses destroyed that occured on May 21st and June 1st of 1921 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where the original Black Wall Street originated. Their vision will not go in vain.
