Gurpreet Kaur Sidhu, author of the new thriller Storm, is available to talk about her experience writhing about abuse, Sikhism, self publishing and tolerance in America today.
The intense horror novel opens to a jaw dropping domestic dispute–a subject she wants to bring to light.
“People suffer in silence. Some women don’t think they can remove themselves from that toxic environment because they don’t believe they’re strong enough to do so. The other reason I decided to cover this topic is because I’ve been bullied and mentally abused. For me, writing what I’ve been through, seen, heard, this story has allowed me to grieve.”
Gurpreet Kaur Sidhu wrote the book over an eight year period, self publishing after being discouraged through formal processes. She can share how she did it with advice for other writers.
Sidhu is currently writing book 2 and is aiming for it to be released at the beginning of 2020.
Please let me know if you have questions for Gurpreet Kaur Sidhu. I’m happy to connect you.
