Office of Health Equity Announces Awardee for Final Component of the California Reducing Disparities Project

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD

The Office of Health Equity, Community Development and Engagement Unit is pleased to announce a Notice of Intent to Award for the final component of the California Reducing Disparities Project (CRDP)–the Education, Outreach and Awareness (EOA) Consultant contract to the California Pan-Ethnic Health Network (CPEHN).

For over 25 years, CPEHN has been advocating for health equity for underserved diverse racial/ethnic communities, as well as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning populations. Most recently, CPEHN developed a community authored CRDP Strategic Plan to Reduce Mental Health Disparities from five population-specific Strategic Plans. Services to be provided by the EOA Consultant will include: a statewide mental health poll, media training and consulting, storytelling technical assistance to CRDP grantees, and community engagement across all priority populations.
