On September 12, Noticias Telemundo will launch “Planeta Tierra,” a multi-platform series of stories focused on climate change and environmental issues with an emphasis on Latin American countries and the U.S. Hispanic community. “Planeta Tierra” will be led by Emmy Award-winning journalist and climate change expert, Vanessa Hauc. To round out “Septiembre Imparable por Telemundo,” Telemundo Deportes will premiere a new episode of “Que Momento” (What a Moment), the first-ever, original documentary-style sports production launched by the network last December. Premiering on September 29 at 2:30pm/1:30c, this new episode will take a look at the story of how France became champion of the 2018 FIFA World Cup™. It’s the story of a team of immigrants and sons of immigrants overcoming obstacles as they grew up to become the symbol of a generation and includes an analytic view of the three Hispanic rivals that they faced: Peru, Argentina, and Uruguay. “Que Momento” was born from Andres Cantor’s signature phrase “Que Momento,” which he uses to describe the most exciting moment in a soccer match. The quarterly special takes an in-depth journalistic look at some of the greatest and most memorable moments in sports history.
