BCLP CELEBRATES FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF MERGER ANNOUNCES NEW INNOVATION INITIATIVE
St. Louis/London, April 3, 2019 – Global law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) today celebrates the first anniversary of its historic merger.
One year ago, the newly merged firm began operations across a global platform. The combination brought together two organizations widely recognized for their innovative approaches to client service into one global, fully integrated law firm.
Today, bolstered by strong financial performance in its first year and a commitment to a core business strategy focused on client service and innovation, the firm is poised to build on the successes of the past year and continues to deliver new and better solutions to clients throughout the world. Partners from both firms have focused on synergies and opportunities in order to collaborate on growing existing client relationships and building new ones. BCLP was the first firm in over a decade to be structured as a fully financially integrated firm with a platform that incentivises and encourages teamwork. The firm has expanded its presence and service offerings in key markets around the world and the merger has enabled better, deeper and broader representation of clients globally.

Today the firm further solidified its position as a leader in legal services innovation through the launch of its new Innovation Champions program. This firmwide initiative will enable anyone who is passionate about applying new technology, improving processes and understanding data in ways that deliver more effective solutions for clients to get involved and drive change.
“This new group will share ideas, monitor developments and help pilot new approaches. The goal will be for this group to become an integral part of the way in which we drive forward the firm’s innovation agenda,” said Chief Innovation Officer Katie DeBord.
