Ashleigh Hargrave

Senior Director, Health Equity
Ashleigh Hargrave is senior director of health equity for Novant Health where she oversees the planning, development, and implementation of initiatives to reduce healthcare disparities at Novant Health and in the community.
Ashleigh received her Bachelor of Art degree in Mass Communications from Winston-Salem State University and her graduate degrees in business administration and healthcare administration at Pfeiffer University. She has also completed a women’s leadership program at Yale University.
Ashleigh has more than 13 years of healthcare and branding experience and is passionate about health from a holistic view. She was the marketing lead for the opening of the Novant Health Maya Angelou Center for Women’s Health and Wellness, as well as the inaugural Novant Health Maya Angelou International Women’s Health Summit.
Active in her profession and the community, Ashleigh is the Chair of the Women’s Council of Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center Foundation and a member of the American College of Healthcare. She also volunteers with her church, the local school system, and other nonprofits.
Ashleigh is an avid reader and enjoys traveling and fitness activities in her free time.
