Angel Lorente is an executive director for Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Securities Group Finance Division and is primarily responsible for leading a global team of Finance Risk Managers. In his current role, Angel unites his leadership skills and his extensive product control and finance infrastructure knowledge to manage the operational risk and control environment for his Division. His responsibilities include developing and implementing guidance on a number of risk and control initiatives that impact Morgan Stanley’s product controllers and focus on reducing the Division’s global risk profile. Angel serves as the chair of the Morgan Stanley – ALPFA relationship and is involved in a number of Diversity & Inclusion initiatives at the firm. Angel earned his BBA with a concentration in Accounting from Baruch College. He also earned his MBA degree with a concentration in Finance and Information Systems from Pace University.
