Angela Schema is the communications and research department director for Securian Financial Group. She oversees Securian’s enterprise market research and communications, including strategic, marketing, design and corporate communications, public relations, publications, website content, branding and social media. She has authored and co-authored numerous articles for both online and print media publications, including The Wall Street Journal. Schema was previously a communications manager with Securian. Prior to that role, she was a senior account representative and served as copywriter and project manager for Securian’s numerous multi-component national advertising and product launch campaigns. Schema serves in leadership and board member roles for various community organizations, which include her local chapter of the American Red Cross and Angelman Syndrome Foundation.
