Benjamin R. Yrun Ostapuk is one of six Senior Litigation Counsel at Intel responsible for leading the Company’s worldwide patent litigation and related strategic projects, and was recognized in 2011 as a Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility Young Hispanic Corporate Achiever. Before joining Intel, Ben was a patent litigation partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in San Francisco, which he joined from the Bay Area offices of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Ben is a 1996 graduate of Stanford Law School. Among his public service activities, Ben served as Kirkland’s Bay Area pro bono coordinator and was an active member of its firm-wide Diversity and Recruiting Committees, twice received the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Outstanding Volunteer in Public Service Award, and served as Chairman of the Board for Haight Ashbury Free Clinics, Inc. until its merger with Walden House in 2011.
