David Alfini is a partner in Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP’s Chicago office. He concentrates his practice on products liability defense and the defense of nursing homes, long-term care facilities and home care companies. David joined Hinshaw in 2000 after graduating from Indiana University, Bloomington where he earned a JD and MA in Slavic Language. David is a diversity role model by advocating for diversity and inclusion both inside and outside the firm. At Hinshaw, David is an active member of the LGBTQ BRG, promoting awareness and communication. In addition, he supports the development of young attorneys as the co-chair of the firm’s mentoring committee. David strives to give back by concentrating on the economic empowerment of the LGBTQ community. He is currently the Chicago Programing Board Chair for StartOut, a national organization dedicated to the development and empowerment of LGBTQ entrepreneurs. He was 2016 Leadership Counsel on Legal Diversity fellow.
