Alais Griffin is a founding member of Griffin Strategic Law Advisors. She graduated from Northwestern University School of Law with her Juris Doctorate degree. She founded Griffin Strategic Law Advisors to give her clients a sophisticated, experienced, and common-sense legal and risk management partner. Over the past twenty years, she has served as the general counsel of a 115-year old national nonprofit; as a partner in leading global law firms; as a senior government executive at the United States Department of Transportation; and on nonprofit and public company boards. She has seen legal matters from the inside and is ideally suited to help clients mitigate risk so they can minimize future legal concerns. She brings practical knowledge in a broad range of legal and governance matters, including compliance, board governance, federal grants, transportation regulations, administrative law, and international operations, as well as management and strategic growth.
