Arlyn Kalinski, Vice President, Head of Language Services, PNC. In her role, Arlyn helps to deliver seamless in-language experiences that enable access to banking for Limited English Proficiency consumers and small businesses. Prior to joining PNC in2017, Arlyn spent 15 years working in the financial services industry with Bank of America. She has held numerous leadership roles spanning multiple lines of business to include, Home Lending, Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure, Regulatory Operations, and Risk Management and Compliance. In her spare time, Kalinski fundraises and volunteers for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, serves as the secretary for the Pittsburgh Latino Employee Business Resource Group, and is a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Council within PNC’s marketing organization. Originally from Isabela, Puerto Rico, Arlyn holds a bachelor’s degree in Humanities from the University of Puerto Rico, a master’s degree in English as a Second Language from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, and she is completing her Ph.D. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Arlyn’s research is focused on how bilingualism and biculturalism influence cultural identity.
