Benjamin Yrun Ostapuk leads Intel’s legal team responsible for worldwide intellectual property litigation, IP rights development, IP licensing and transactions, trademarks and brands, and legal support for technology standards. Ben is the co-chair of Intel’s Latinx Leadership Council.
Ben joined Intel in 2010 from Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he was a partner handling complex patent litigation. Ben holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Arizona and earned his JD degree from Stanford Law School at Stanford University.
In 2016, Intellectual Asset Management magazine named Ben to its annual IAM Strategy 300 list of the world’s leading IP strategists. He has been named a Corporate IP Star by Managing Intellectual Property magazine from 2015–2020. In 2018, Ostapuk joined the New York University School of Law Engelberg Center on Innovation Law and Policy Advisory Board, and the faculty of Baylor Law School’s Executive LL.M. in Litigation Management.
