Cindy Villanueva is an Intellectual Property Attorney with Dickinson Wright, PLLC. She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. At Dickinson Wright, Villanueva focuses on the areas of international and domestic trademark and copyright prosecution, licensing, and enforcement. She assists her clients in identifying protectable aspects of their services, products, and concepts as well as brand development. Additionally, she aids those in need of help with any and all aspects of advertising and promotional and marketing materials and product. Prior to Joining Dickinson Wright, Villanueva was a partner at the firm Lewis, Roca, Rothberger Christie where she also focused on Intellectual property. Villanueva is passionate about aiding her peers in the Hispanic community. She is Communications Director for the Los Abogados Hispanic Bar Association, which aims to develop, empower, and support the Latinx community through advancement in the legal profession. Additionally, she serves as Co-Vice President and member of the Board of Directors for Florence Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project. This project offers free legal services to men, women, and unaccompanied children in immigration custody.
