Kearia C. Sams received a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Daemen College in 2015and her Master of Health Administration degree from Pfeiffer University in August 2020.Passionate about helping others and making a difference, she serves and has served on multiple boards.
In 2018, Kearia worked closely with the Nonmalignant Hematology team to establish a Federally funded Hemophilia Treatment Center(HTC). Her commitment to learning about the bleeding/clotting disorder community to contribute to the execution of gaining the HTC’s federal designation earned Kearia a second KEAP award.
Dedicated to scholarship and leadership and adamant to give back to those in her community, Kearia engages in community service events through Elevation Church, her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Levine Cancer Institute, and the Atrium Health Foundation. In addition, she loves to travel, spend quality time with family/friends, and read inspirational books in her free time.
