Kenyatta Beverly is Labor and Employment Counsel for The Davey Tree Expert Company, one of the largest employee-owned companies in the U.S.In her role, Kenyatta provides the company with strategic legal counsel and support.

Kenyatta has practiced law for nearly 12 years, serving as the Director of Labor Relations for Acero Charter Schools, Inc.; as Labor Relations Counsel and an Administrative Law Judge for the State of Illinois; and as an associate attorney in boutique and large law firms.

Kenyatta is the Immediate Past President of the Black Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater Chicago, Inc., and a Scholarship Fund Board Member. On multiple occasions, BWLA and other organizations have awarded Kenyatta for her leadership and community service. Recently, Girls Inc. of Chicago named Kenyatta a She Shines Awardee.

Kenyatta earned her B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
