Alexandria (Alex) Samuel is Senior Managing Counsel, Litigation at PNC Bank. Here, she has acted tirelessly as an advocate in the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion space. She joined the Legal D&I Council in 2015, and during that same year was chosen for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellowship. In 2016, Samuel launched the Extra Mile program, a legal profession pipeline program with the St. Benedict the Moor Middle School. In addition, she is cofounder of the PNC Legal litigation group LEG UP program. She is also a board member of JURIST, a non-profit online legal news service run by Pitt Law student volunteers from 29 law schools in over six countries. Samuel holds a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and a B.S. from the University of Maryland. She was a law clerk for the Honorable Cathy Bissoon, United States District Court, Western Pennsylvania.
