Ken Goodwin is the IT Division Director— Quality Services for the Mecklenburg County Government. In this role, Goodwin works alongside the Chief information Officer to establish the organization’s technical vision and develop leading IT strategies and operational plans. He also serves as a mentor and leader to the IT Quality Services and IT Service Management (ITSM) divisions. In addition, he serves as the liaison for Mecklenburg County’ s Information Services & Technology Advisory Committee (ISTAC). Before starting in his current position, Goodwin was the IT Manager- Applications Testing for Delhaize America. Outside of the office, he is very active in his community. Goodwin is a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. He also serves on the Board of Directors at Uproar Leadership Academy. In 2011 he won the Outstanding Alumni Award from the College of HRSM at USC–Columbia. Goodwin holds a M.S. Degree in information systems and an MBA, both from Strayer University
