As a Manager of Medical Imaging Operations at WellStar Health System, he develops a pathway of excellence to execute the strategic direction and day-to-day management of clinical/hospital business operations routines. His efforts focus on improving access to care, creating an environment that is quality/safety- focused, developing process efficiencies, promoting workforce/leadership innovation, implementing evidence-based practice, achieving profitability and service-line growth, and providing assurance to integrate corporate enterprise strategies with local site level operating procedures. Shedd has more than 10 years of experience in Imaging, Interventional/Vascular/Procedural service line development, inventory/materials management, imaging technology, financial budget planning, and delivering high quality patient centric care. In his current role, Shedd governs the modalities of Medical Imaging to include Diagnostic x-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Interventional Radiology for Wellstar Health System East Cobb Health Park and Windy Hill Hospital. Shedd has as B.S. from Mercy College of Ohio, and an M.B.A. from Kennesaw State University.
