He has experience as a CEO, CIO, COO, CDO and CTO and speaks at conferences globally on Data Privacy, Security, Software Engineering and Open Data. He is a Distinguished Engineer of the Association of Computing Machinery, a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, a Fellow of the British Computer Society. Grandison has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, and an executive MBA degree from the IBM Academy of Education.
