F. Thaddeus Arroyo is responsible for directing AT&T’s internal information technology organization and infrastructure. Under Arroyo’s leadership, AT&T has been consistently recognized for thought leadership and creativity in information technology innovation and execution. AT&T was recognized by the American Business Awards as the 2009 IT Department of the Year. Prior to joining AT&T, Arroyo served as chief information officer at Cingular Wireless and prior to that he served as senior vice president of product marketing and development for Sabre Corporation. Arroyo has been recognized by numerous publications for advancement of the IT industry through leadership, innovation and creativity in planning and deploying technology. He also received the 2011 Oracle Excellence Award for CIO of the Year. Arroyo is an active board member for the National Center for Women & Information Technology and the Hispanic IT Executive Council. He also serves on the Executive Advisory Board of the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business.
