Francesca Gino is an associate professor of business administration in the Negotiation, Organizations & Markets Unit at Harvard Business School. Gino’s research focuses on judgment, decision-making, negotiation, ethics, motivation, productivity, and creativity. Her work has been published in a number of academic journals including the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, to name a few. Her studies have been featured in The Economist, The New York Times, Newsweek, Scientific American, Psychology Today and The Wall Street Journal. In addition to teaching, Gino advises firms and not-for-profit organizations in the areas of negotiation, decision-making and organizational behavior. A native of Italy, she holds a Ph.D. in economics and management from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa and is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Trento.
