Girish Rishi, 43, is senior vice president of enterprise solutions for Motorola Solutions. He is responsible for product development, product management and engineering for the company’s enterprise solutions portfolio. Rishi joined Motorola in 2005 as director of U.S. sales for the enterprise business. Most recently, he was corporate vice president, enterprise mobile computing. Prior to joining Motorola, Rishi was senior vice president for strategy and marketing at Matrics, a venture-backed start-up that was acquired by Symbol. Earlier on, Rishi held positions of increasing responsibility at Symbol, starting in product management and eventually leading the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Rishi is a member of the Digi International board of directors, serves on the board of regents at the University of Hartford and was selected as an emerging leader, class of 2011-2013, by the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Bombay, a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Hartford and a master’s degree in international public policy from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University in Washington, D.C.
