Jesús Palomino is the General Manager of Intel’s Guadalajara Design Center (GDC). GDC is focused on developing future computing platforms. This site started in October 2000 with around 33 employees and under Jesús leadership it has grown to 850 employees. Prior to GDC, He was the founder and director of TDCOM, a company that designed systems for telecommunications and provided consulting services in the same area. Before TDCOM, he was the Engineering manager at Mixbaal and CTS (Center of Technology of Semiconductors) where he guided groups in the design of integrated circuits and computing platforms. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics by the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla and a Master Degree by the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (INAOE). He also participates in diverse industry chambers in the fields of technology and development, and is a member of the IEEE. He has taught classes at Universities in Jalisco and Puebla and has obtained some patents in the area of integrated circuits.
