Julie Langdon is a sixth year associate attorney at Loeb & Loeb LLP. Julie practices in several areas of intellectual property law, including litigation, licensing, counseling, and asset prosecution. Julie’s primary practice is patent litigation with a concentration in the areas of biotechnology, chemical, and pharmaceutical arts, including Hatch-Waxman issues. Julie represents both plaintiffs and defendants in patent-related litigations involving infringement and other disputes arising over patent rights. Julie also has experience with trademark portfolio protection and maintenance before the USPTO and international bodies. Outside her main intellectual property focus, Julie also occasionally assists with Loeb’s commercial litigation matters. Prior to joining Loeb & Loeb LLP in 2008, Julie was an associate attorney at Ladas & Parry LLP, a Chicago intellectual property boutique firm. There, she prosecuted patent applications, counseled clients relating to their patent rights, and participated in various aspects of patent litigation. Julie received her Juris Doctor degree from the DePaul University College of Law in 2006. In 2002, she obtained a M.S. in Forensic Science with a concentration in biotechnology from Florida International University in Miami, FL, and in 1999, Julie obtained her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz in Cellular Biology and Biotechnology.
