Cook was appointed to her position in March, after three years serving as vice president of customer strategy and engagement. She’s responsible for engaging the organization to optimize all customer relationships and is accountable for DSW Rewards, customer communications, customer intelligence team, research, call center, social media, digital media, TV, advertising, and the online customer experience. Her accomplishments include doubling the size of the DSW Rewards membership to approximately 20 million, launching DSW’s Facebook and Twitter account, and customer propensity models which enable 25-75% more efficient marketing spend. Prior to DSW, she held an executive role at Waste Management, where she launched an inaugural CRM framework which drove significant results. Before that, she was director of CRM at Continental Airlines Inc. She has been featured in Harvard Business School as one of the 2003 Dynamic Women in Business, and is an adjunct professor at Kellogg School of Management and Freeman School of Business.
