Gibbs serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Soul Train at Intermedia Vibe Holdings, LLC. He served as president of Vibe/Spin Ventures LLC. Gibbs was instrumental in the strategic positioning and growth of the Vibe/Spin Ventures LLC’s management and overseeing the advertising, event marketing, and public relations departments. Among his former positions is group publisher of Ebony and Jet magazines and president of Ebony/Jet Entertainment Group. Gibbs has a B.A. from Williams College and a master’s degree from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
