Laura R. Marquez serves as Google’s Head of Latino Community Engagement and is charged with working across the company to deepen impact and strengthen relationships through internal and external partnerships. Laura’s work focuses on diversity and inclusion and the intersection with education and economic empowerment issues. As a champion of collaborative community engagement, Laura develops strategic alliances to help elevate and extend Google’s work with community partners like HSIs, small business owners and those working to support and expand the Latino tech pipeline.
Laura started her career in Washington D.C. as a Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Fellow. This fellowship opened the door to opportunities on Capitol Hill. During her time on the Hill, Laura served as a senior staff member for two former Members of Congress.
Laura received her BA from the University of Texas at Austin and a concurrent MBA/MPA from Harvard Business School and the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
