Manuel Cuevas-Trisán joined Motorola’s Law Department in 1998 and leads the Labor, Employment and Global Immigration practice group since January of 2012. In this capacity, he provides strategic advice on high risk activities on a global basis, including restructurings, downsizing, outsourcing/off shoring, business alliances, M&A, employment litigation, terminations, restrictive covenants, internal investigations, privacy/data protection, employee mobility and business immigration. Prior to joining Motorola, Mr. Cuevas-Trisán worked at the San Juan, Puerto Rico law firm of McConnell Valdés and served as judicial clerk at the Puerto Rico Court of Appeals. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame, and earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Law. He is Certified Information Privacy Professional by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
