As a senior attorney for American Airlines, Michelle Peak’s practice includes a wide range of labor and employment issues. Peak provides labor and employment counsel and strategic advice to business leaders and human resource executives designed to minimize legal risks, maximize profit potential and execute the best in employee relations and human resource practices. She also keeps management informed of new, applicable labor and employment laws, and of the progress and results of labor and employment and ERISA litigation. Peak has authored articles on labor and diversity practices. She also appears and speaks on the company’s behalf at labor- and employment-related seminars including the Minority Corporate Counsel Association, National Employment Law Council and the National LGBT Bar Association. Peak has served on the Advisory Corporate Council Women of Color and provided assistance with the Dallas Volunteer Attorney program. She participates with American Airlines’ Legal Department Diversity Committee and the Mentoring Program for Law Students.
