Sharpe helps lead Allstate’s operations in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia. Prior to joining the Capital Region leadership team, she was vice president of federal affairs, responsible for shaping, advocating and advancing Allstate’s public policy interests. In this role, Sharpe addressed the need for critical industry reforms that affect the lives of consumers and cultivated significant brand awareness for Allstate’s position on safe teen driving. Previously, Sharpe was assistant vice president of reputation leadership, accountable for creating, guiding, and championing Allstate’s reputation strategy and for driving reputation results through strategic business partnerships. Sharpe also led college recruitment in HR, developing the college relations strategy and redesigning the corporate internship program. She’s a 2007 Fellow of Leadership Greater Chicago and a 2004 Minority MBA Next Generation of Minority Business Leaders winner. She was named in The Hill ’s 2011 list of Top Corporate Lobbyists.
