Linda A. Liang, Ph.D.
President
President and founder of Organizational Resources, LLC a woman-owned, management consulting firm, Linda has offered leadership assessment, coaching, training and career development to a variety of Fortune 500 and nonprofit organizations for over 20 years. Linda holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology. She is passionate about women’s leadership and career progression and assisting women and minorities in attaining high levels of achievement and workplace satisfaction.
Linda is down-to-earth, warm and engaging, powerful, intelligent, and business oriented. Her expertise in leadership theory and development enable her to assist organizations in identifying and cultivating leaders within their companies. Her company focuses on developing strategy, needs assessments, training design/delivery, and leadership assessment, development and coaching. She has taught power and presence, conflict management, strategy, virtual teams and leadership theory. She was a Co-PI for a National Science Foundation $1.8 million grant to develop a Women’s Leadership Certificate for women of color in STEM at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. She assisted the women in selecting and cultivating a sponsor and achieving visibility within their organizations. She has worked extensively in the area of diversity analytics for Fortune 500 companies and has studied the career paths of both Caucasian and minority women. She has developed strategies and processes to enhance the culture to enable women and minorities to achieve the highest levels of success. She has implemented creative succession plans and high potential systems. She is currently exploring sexual harassment issues in STEM fields.
She has been an executive coach for a variety of leaders and has published articles on leadership characteristics among diverse leaders. Linda has a spoken about leadership in numerous settings, some examples are: “Essential Competencies for Emerging Leaders,” “Women in Leadership: Confidence,” “From Peppermint Patti to Priscilla the Hun: Finding and Accessing your Personal Power,” and has appeared on the NBC Channel 2, 10 PM news on “Negotiating Know How.” She also serves as the Leadership Institute Director for Regina Dominican High School, in Wilmette, Illinois. There she inspires young girls to achieve power and presence, authentic self-confidence and to become global citizens and use their leadership skills to make a difference in the world. Regina Dominican is the only single gender high school in the state of Illinois to offer a dedicated Leadership Institute for its students.
