Shannon Murphy Robinson, M.A., is a highly sought after organizational consultant, trainer and speaker. She has a wealth of experience in global diversity and inclusion, intercultural management, and leadership development. She successfully leads, creates and implements large-scale diversity and inclusion training initiatives (20,000+ employees) with clients such as Deloitte, Deluxe, CHRISTUS Health System, Boston Scientific, SwedishAmerican Hospital, Cargill, Mayo Clinic, University of Michigan, Medtronic, and Champlain College, so she knows how to execute results.
Shannon is Co-Founder of BrainSkills@Work™, a consulting firm devoted entirely to applying the latest neuroscience research to more effectively develop diversity and inclusion skills, cultural agility and leadership skills. In 2012, Shannon achieved Advanced Certification as a NeuroBusiness Coach at Harvard with Dr. Srini Pillay (Harvard Medical School). She is on the faculty of the Intercultural Communication Institute in Portland, OR, teaching neuroscience of inclusion. She served as an adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas, Opus College of Business Executive Education teaching neuroscience for leadership development.

Shannon is co-author of: the BrainStates Self-Awareness Profile™, white paper “The Neuroscience of Inclusion: Managing Unconscious Bias,” and new book The Neuroscience of Inclusion: New Skills for New Times. Shannon is particularly skilled at applying her deep knowledge of neuroscience to help organizations learn and apply practical brain-based skills, strategies and tools to become more inclusive and high performing.

Her portfolio of work includes serving as Vice President for ProGroup (now part of Korn Ferry), a leader in providing diversity programs globally. Shannon designed and led multi-year strategic global training initiatives, and launched and managed affiliates across three continents. With profit & loss and sales responsibility for 48% of the firm’s revenues, Shannon knows exactly what she is talking about when she speaks to leaders. Shannon earned her M.A. in Intercultural Communication, with an emphasis on leadership training and organizational development from American University, School of International Service, in Washington D.C.. She is certified in the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), Traditional Chinese Medicine and Quantum Healing. Her infectious style and warm candor have made her a favorite keynote speaker, presenter and trainer.
