Lisa Tepper Joins the Board of Minority Business Development Institute (MBDI)
Outstanding Insurance Executive and Women-in-Business Leader Signs on to Cultivate Small, Minority, Women and Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises (SMWVBEs)
BORDENTOWN, N.J., Nov. 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — MBDI founder and CEO David Cayemitte announced today that Lisa Tepper, seasoned insurance executive and tireless advocate for women and diversity, has joined MBDI’s board of directors.
An accomplished leader with over 30 years insurance industry experience , Lisa has held various leadership positions focused on business development, distribution strategy and organizational transformation.
In 2017, Lisa joined Arthur J. Gallagher, the world’s fourth largest insurance broker. As an Area Executive Vice President in the retail brokerage division, she drives revenue and contributes to marketing strategies. Lisa is also moving the needle on diversity and inclusion in the organization.
Lisa is the recipient of the Insurance Woman of the Year award, recognized for her leadership by the NYC Association of Insurance Women. She is a Board Member of The Young People’s Chorus of New York City, a mentor with W.O.M.E.N. In America, Past Chair of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation – Northeast Chapter and Past President of Middle Earth of Somerset County. Lisa serves as NYC Ambassador for Shel, a group of radically generous women creating a new economic model.
Founded in 2010, MBDI is an educational non-profit providing education and advocacy to assist SMWVBEs to develop socio-economic parity by addressing business issues that create barriers to success.
